KeyJNote is great but if I have compiz running the startup for the presentation flashes the first page before starting and the background of some applets e.g. system monitor, show through as they are refreshed.
Semi-solution – temporarily disable Compiz when giving KeyJNote presentations.
Here are the two key settings to restore:
Tick for flame writing and Cube rotate.
Cube rotate: fliptime 239; accel 4; speed 0.9; timestep 1, zoom 0.
Better solution (if only problems are caused by contents of top panel):
Right click on top panel and select Properties. Tick Show hide buttons and Arrows on hide buttons. Just before a presentation, hide the top panel and restore it afterwards.
